5th Report: Bulgaria - Romania - Hungary

Nach Sofia we went east to visit the Valley of the Roses. Unfortunately, we at least 1 week early was our turn to enjoy the rose splendor. So There Were Roses Distillery tour or even buy rose oil and Meli was annoyed ...

The trouble was the high point the next day in the form of unnecessary damage park in the narrow streets of Burgas. So we will not get too comfortable with all the stress, our gas went to cooking but slowly but surely coming to an end and we spent 2 hours searching for a gas station. Answers like "I do not know" and "Maybe pumping station" brought us further and further to the south, the Black Sea coast. At some point, but it worked. Tired and exasperated, we were finally a nice campsite where we could move into a bungalow ('s kind of camping in the East rather than in a bungalow in a tent or on the bus), and finally the luck was shining again auf unserer Seite zu sein. Bei Vasko und seinen Freunden verbrachten wir 2 ruhige Tage mit Baden im Meer und wurden am Abend jeweils gut mit Essen und Rakjia verköstigt.
Leider wird die Küste in ganz Bulgarien extrem verbaut und ein Hotel-Komplex reiht sich an den nächsten.

Die nächsten 3 tage verbrachten wir mit Sightseeing der Küste entlang. Fuhren bis zur türkischen Grenze und besuchten unter anderem die Klippen von Kliakra, wo wir direkt vor der Burg auf dem Besucherparkplatz nach einem herrlichen Sonnenuntergang were allowed to stay.

In Romania, we drove along the coast to Tulcea. The starting point for excursions to the Danube Delta, where we directly in the city behind a closed hotel the night. Auf dem Weg in die Region Siebenbürgen für die Burgentour wurden wir wieder ein Mal von einer Schweizerin überrascht. Cornelia, welche seit 19 Jahren ein Kinderheim in Pànàtàu leitet, lud uns spontan zum alljährlichen Theateraufführung ein. Wir blieben gleich drei Nächte: Spielten mit den Kindern und Jugendlichen, unterhielten uns mit den aus der Schweiz angereisten Frauen des Gönnervereins und kamen in den Genuss einer eindrücklichen Theateraufführung. Nach schönen, aber auch anstrengenden Tagen (die Kinder sind durch ihren Lebenslauf alle psychisch beeinträchtigt, was sich vor allem in ihrem Verhalten und ihrer Kommunikation ausdrückt) machten wir uns auf den Weg zu den Kirchenburgen von Siebenbürgen.

Natürlich besuchten wir auch das touristisch ausgeschlachtete Heim von Dracula. Da beeindruckten uns die kleinen Dörfer mit ihren gewaltigen Kirchenburgen viel mehr.

Before crossing the border to Hungary, we let our Büssli again washed and changed our last Leu's hoof. The fact that we sit still on Bulgarian Lewa, you can change apparently only with border from Bulgaria to Romania, we had a lesson.

4th Report: Albania - Greece - Bulgaria

Our stay in Tirana at Migena, Martin, and Nils was extended unexpectedly. Raphael was in bed with fever and was Meli and Migena with everything so expect nature to health. So we took seven days leave of Tirana with a heavy heart and our friends.

We drove along the coast to the south. The trip to Apollonia, an ancient ruin site developed to highlight. The impressive ruins (Amphitheater and a monastery) were destroyed in part by the bunkers Enver Hoxas, but were still very impressive. When we asked a guide for the way, he suggested that we should immediately stay the night. So we stayed with ruins in the back and a wonderful view over a plain and sea. That the next morning at the crack of dawn 'many Albanian families 1 May trip will be listed here and make us our place in dispute, including the leader of course has not said anything.

Auf dem Weg in den südlichsten Teil Albaniens, nach Butrint, übernachteten wir direkt am Meer auf einer Landzunge zu einer Burg. Während wir uns einrichteten, wurden wir plötzlich auf Schweizerdeutsch angesprochen und von Regula und ihren Freunden, die auf dem Seeweg nach Griechenland unterwegs waren, zu einem Fondue auf der Yacht Sarabella eingeladen. Am nächsten Morgen gab's das erste erfrischende Bad im Meer.

Butrint, eine riesige antike Stadt mit einer unglaublichen Geschichte (wer mehr wissen will soll mal googlen oder auf unseren ausführlicheren Bericht, wenn wir wieder zu Hause sind warten), impressed us greatly.

For our last night in Albania, we looked for a beach close to Saranda. The hotel was not open, but unfortunately two other campers were to us, otherwise we would have had the entire beach to ourselves.

In Bulgaria, we stayed at the Rila Monastery. "Unfortunately," it was once again on a holiday (Day of Bulgarian Army) and we were not the only tourists. Nevertheless, impressed us of the monastic complex located in the forest and the paintings of biblical scenes.

for a hike in the Rila National Park, we relied on the guide, which led us to Borovets. That is the best starting point for hiking and details were not available in the Touriinfomation but at the front desk of the hotel. The first card purchased, then taught us better and we had some miles on Holperstrasse (which are lower in Bulgaria than in Albania!) Drive until we found the starting point of our hike: a hut at the entrance of the park. From the fireplace did smoke, but neither our nor knocking horns came out someone. So we spent the night in vain, got up early and then saw the keeper but still before we made our ascent. At first it went quite well, but then came the snow fields, it was foggy and we lost the markers. But nothing brought us to repentance. We were then greeted by sunshine shortly before the summit. Today we visited Sofia. The city is an interesting mix of culture (especially old churches and museums) and shopping city. Unfortunately, the paintings in the churches of the many candles are soot blackened so strong and illumination is missing that you could not see much more often. We were traveling by bike: concentrated on potholes and racing cars. Tomorrow we will visit a concert in a club (somehow the events are held here on Sunday and not on Saturday!).

Auf alle Fälle wollte die Fünfte in den meisten Spielen Paroli bieten, mehr als ein 5:15 Punktekonto konnte aber nicht erzielt werden.
Anders das Abschneiden in der RR. Das Team wusste sich enorm zu steigern holte im zweiten Saisonteil 10:10 Punkte und damit den Klassenerhalt, der wohl in die Rubrik Sensation eingeteilt werden kann.

Am Freitag, 30.04.10 fand die Abteilungversammlung statt. Wie so üblich gab es auch rückwirkende Betrachtungen der Saison 09/10!

In der Reihenfolge der Herren-Teams SpVgg 1 - 8 u. Juniorteams SpVgg 1 u. SpVgg 2 gibt es in nächster Zeit eine Nachbetrachtung über das sportliche Abschneiden.

SpVgg 1
-Oberliga-

Ein einziges Team der SpVgg stand am Saisonende auf einem Abstiegsplatz. Leider erwischte es das Team mit dem die Wenigsten gerechnet haben. Nicht nur intern auch extern war der Tenor - "SpVgg 1 steigt nicht aus der Oberliga ab"!
Doch diese Einschätzung traf nicht zu. Das Team landete auf dem vorletzten Platz. Positiv, dass es immerhin der sog. "beste Abstiegsplatz" ist.
Die Ursache für das Abschneiden ist nicht primär im Sportlichen zu suchen. Aus beruflichen Gründen war es dem Team nicht möglich nahezu in Bestbesetzung aground.
