Wir sitzen auf der Terrasse des Mökkis der Grosseltern von Kaisa, Tobis Freundin. Unser Tageswerk, neun Fische befinden sich in der Räucherkammer und wir nutzen die Zeit bis die Sauna heiss ist, für einen Blog.
Estland
Wir hatten also noch zwei Tage in Estland bis die Fähre uns nach Finnland bringen sollte und wir entschieden uns in den Westen von Estland ans Meer zu fahren, nach Happsalu. Die Fahrt dorthin verlief leider nicht ganz Problemlos. Plötzlich knallte etwas in unsere Windschutzscheibe und Raphi sass mit Glassplitter übersät am Steuer. Ein Lastwagen, der uns entgegen kam, hatte wohl einen Stone kicked up, which our windscreen smashed. Dafür spazierten wir durch ein altes, halb zerfallenes Hafengelände und durch das Dörfchen. Natürlich durfte der Besuch der Burgruine nicht fehlen. Aber eigentlich liessen wir in erste Linie nur die Zeit verstreichen, bis unsere Fähre ging.

Das Einsetzen der Windschutzscheibe verlief sehr speditiv und dauerte nur eine Stunde. Wir nutzten die Zeit für einen Great shopping, as we now indeed the "expensive" north is imminent. not far from Tallinn we stayed on a long sandy beach and enjoyed a recent Latvian sunset. We enjoyed two first Finnish daily on the island. Meli was allowed to enjoy the first Finnish sauna wood and all their skepticism was gone. We paddled in canoes across the island landscape wandered about the island and enjoyed the swim. The whole thing was like a vacation during the holidays. When women talk in the sauna Mirja Meli suggested that we need not stay with them in the apartment for the time we want to stay in Helsinki. So we went on Sunday evening to Espoo, a suburb of Helsinki, where we moved in a block of Alvar Aalto our new home for two days.

For the first city visit, we met the next day with Stefi and Flöru, friends from Switzerland, which was also vacation in Finland. Für die Nacht parkten wir 200 m unter dem Fernsehturm von Kuopio. Natürlich genossen wir vor dem Abendessen die herrliche Aussicht auf die Wälder- und Seenlandschaft.
